Welcome to the Press Thornton Future Masters Golf Tournament, one of the most traditionally rich junior boys tournament in the world. An impressive list of golfing greats who have competed in the tournament continues to grow and includes past U.S. Open champions Hubert Green and Jerry Pate, Masters winner Larry Mize, Bubba Watson, Trevor Immelman and Scottie Scheffler, PGA champions Bob Tway, Mark Brooks and Shawn Micheel, and British Open winner Ben Curtis. The Future Masters has become a proving ground for golf's brightest junior stars, but it is not, nor has it ever been, only about golf. It is about the spirit of competition, friendships made, sportsmanship on the course, and the challenge of preserving 76 years of growing golf.

** Starting in 2026, a non-refundable fee of $25 will be required for each contestant upon application submission. **

Players may register online and complete their own personal profile. Click here for online registration. An email confirmation will be sent once the application is submitted.
Invitations will be emailed to selected players after the field is determined on May 1st. Payment for the tournament will be required once players accept the invitation.
This payment ($350 for the 10 and Under Group, and $400 for ages 11 through 18) should be made through the website to confirm entry into the tournament by May 8th. 
If payment is not received by May 15th, applicants will be placed on a waiting list until the payment is confirmed.
Your spot is not confirmed until payment is made. An official invitation will be emailed and mailed once payment is received.

Course Information

The Future Masters' Golf Tournament is played yearly at the Dothan Country Club, in beautiful Dothan, Alabama. The entire course was recently reimagined and now offers new challenges for hundreds of junior golfers competing in the annual tournament.

Players at the Dothan Country Club will find generous fairways, little water, and manageable lengths from hole to hole. Be careful though - players find themselves tested by thick rough and fast greens every year.
